The Children’s Village will provide kind and loving care in a developmentally appropriate environment, along with a High Reach Curriculum that empower children to develop a positive self-image and a love of learning.
At The Children’s Village we use the High Reach Curriculum. The children at our facility will have a balance of child-initiated and teacher-facilitated activities every day. Every child will be treated individually. We believe that the children learn through hands-on activities that address the needs of the whole child. All our learning experiences are linked to objectives that align with Georgia State standards and NAEYC standards.
We will be using themes to introduce information and the children will learn through exploring and manipulating real objects and events. Our goal is to prepare all our children with a good start to their education in a loving, nurturing environment. We also promote their independence and explore the use of everyday life skills.
All parents are invited and encouraged to visit TCV at any time. There are many opportunities to participate and share in your child’s learning experience. All parents will receive a daily sheet filled with information about your child’s day. Also, at the beginning of each month, TCV sends home our monthly newsletter and a family connection with each child.
